Background
Javan completed his Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Central Florida. He has over 6 years of clinical experience across a variety of settings including outpatient specialty clinics, crisis intervention, structured outpatient programs, inpatient psychiatric facilities, drug recovery centers, large non-profits, and private practice. Javan has also managed mental health programs, treatment, and education for Lake County Schools. He has provided clinical and administrative support to teachers, students, and parents. He has a broad range of clinical experience working with individuals and groups during his professional career.

Javan’s approach emphasizes the mutual development of goals for therapy and provision of ongoing evaluation of the therapeutic approach. Services can include individual, family, and group therapy. Javan is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Reality Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Crisis Intervention. He continues to seek ongoing updates to his skills and knowledge base. Javan is invested in an approach emphasizing a more integrative, dynamic, and holistic approach to mental health. He is particularly concerned with the development of risk and resiliency and its impact on trauma and improving interventions to support trauma recovery for better emotional, physical, and relationship health.
