Tammy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She completed her master's degree in Social Work at Florida International University. Her graduate focus was on grief and loss and the bereavement process. Tammy began her counseling career in 2012. She has extensive background in trauma work, is trained in EMDR therapy and has specialized training in first responder trauma, with a passion to empower our military and first responders beyond potential trauma bondages. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages, and believes the key to healing is treating the person as a whole. Tammy uses an eclectic approach towards treatment incorporating the individual's strengths into therapy whenever possible.

Tammy graduated with an associates degree in Pre-Nursing and a bachelors and a masters degree in Social Work at FIU. Having been born and raised in Miami, Florida, she possesses a strong multicultural rooting. Tammy is a Christian who attends Oviedo City Church with her family. In her free time she enjoys listening to music, spending time with family which includes her four dogs and working outdoors.
