Sarah Ramie - Graduate Student Intern

Background

Sarah is a student at Stetson University’s Masters of Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling program. Sarah is also a certified PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator. Sarah is a Florida native, and in her free time, she enjoys baking, cooking a new recipe, or enjoying the warm sun. Sarah is passionate about her clients and their well-being. Approaching each client with a sense of curiosity, empathy, and compassion, Sarah tailors her approach to each client to meet the client where they’re at in their journey. Sarah is passionate about working with people of all ages and walks of life. Sarah also has a passion for working with adolescents and teens.

Sarah has experience working alongside clients who deal with anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, and self-harm. Sarah is eager to work with clients seeking to find meaning and explore a deeper sense of self. She believes that each person is one-of-a-kind and can conquer whatever adversities life throws at them and that those adversities can be used as a source of strength throughout life. She believes that each client is the author of their own story, and the use of counseling as a tool to aid in the exploration and discovery of how a person can achieve their dreams.
