Tyler Jackson, Graduate Student Intern

Tyler is a student at the University of Central Florida’s Masters of Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapy program and is certified in Gottman Method Couple’s Therapy. He is a native Floridian that enjoys joyful and meaningful experiences with his husband and chosen family. Tyler has spent much of his life serving as a lay helper with compassion, curiosity, and resolve to help others on their journey toward holistic wellness. He is passionate about working with couples and individuals seeking help with boundary setting, communication, and enhancement of their connections with others. Tyler has experience working with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, hopelessness, and negative self-image.  Tyler works to assist those who seek to explore the roots of their trauma and desire to heal from them. He believes that every person is unique and can overcome adversity by utilizing their sense of self and their meaningful connections to others as a source of strength. He views the client as the author of their story and uses counseling to facilitate discovery on how to achieve their goals and find peace, happiness, and love within themselves.
